I was borned in Grand Falls, NFLD. My family moved to Northern BC when I was 5 years old and I have been in Western Canada ever since. I started golfing at age 11 at The Tumbler Ridge Golf and CC. I was a low single digit handicap by age 16 and won many local events from age 16-20. I graduated from The Grant MacEwan Golf Program in 2001. I have worked at The Ranch Golf and Country Club for the last 26 seasons (last 20 as the Head Professional). I am happily married to my wife, Nicole, and we have a 18 year old son Jonah who is our whole world!

Q. What do you enjoy most about the game and the business of golf?
I love helping people enjoy the game of golf as much as I do.
Q. What or who influenced you in becoming a Golf Professional?
I loved the sport and was a pretty good player growing up. I loved business and math and thought the combination would be perfect.
Q. What would you be doing if you weren’t a Golf Professional?
Running a rec center
Q. What is your favourite golf course in the world?
My favorite course that I have played is Grey Wolf in Panorama, BC.
Q. Who is your favourite PGA Tour player?
Growing up it was Fred Couples. Now I lam Team RORY all the way!!
Q. What is the first club you take out of your bag on the driving range?
One of my wedges.
Q. What is the most number of holes of golf you have played in one day?
45
Q. What is your career low round and where did you shoot this score?
I shot 63 at The Ranch, but I think the best round I ever played was a bogey free 66 at the Glendale!
Q. What significant accomplishments are you most proud of?
Winning the Pro Lady North in n 2025 with my Mom at the Ranch! Winning the 2016 Pro-Lady (Pro score division) at Cougar Creek. Finishing 8th in the 2009 PGA of Alberta Championship. Qualifying for the BC Amateur when I was 22 years old. Winning the PGA of Alberta Merchandiser of the year (Public) in 2012, and then winning the PGA of Canada Retailer of the year in 2012 as well!
Q. What other interests, hobbies and passions can you share?
I love spending time with my son. I love the Oilers, NFL football, and hanging out with friends.
