Each year, the PGA of Alberta hosts more than 30 professional tournaments across the province. These include a diverse mix of Championships, Team Best Ball events, Pro-Ams, and Individual Stroke Play competitions—offering competitive opportunities for every skill level and fostering camaraderie among members.
Beyond our officially sanctioned events, PGA of Alberta Professionals also take part in numerous other tournaments throughout the season. These include Member-Guest events, Scrambles, Local and National Pro-Ams, as well as a variety of club-level and regional competitions.
Tournaments play a vital role in maintaining the high standard of play among our members, generating excitement around the sport, and showcasing the talent of Alberta’s Golf Professionals. They also help inspire nearly one million golfers across the province and contribute to the community. Each year, charity tournaments raise tens of millions of dollars in support of important causes.
