PROfile

I grew up in Wetaskiwin where I developed my love for golf.  Upon graduating from the University of Alberta in 1991 I tried a career in Financial Planning however golf had become a real passion and soon I turned professional.  The first 10 years of my career I worked at Eagle Rock GC, Sandpiper GC, River Ridge GC, Jagare Ridge GC, The Derrick Golf and Winter Club and Northern Bear GC.  In 2003 I was hired as the Head Professional at the Olds Golf Club.  In 2005 I took over the management role as well.  Over the years I served on many boards  as well as a 9 year career as a Councillor for the Town of Olds.  in 2022 I retired from active golf duty and started a new career as a Commercial Account Manager for HUB International Insurance focusing on Golf Industry insurance allowing me too still participate in the industry I’ve devoted over half my life.
