Steve has been a Head Golf Profesional / Director of Golf for over 17 years. He was first employed as a Head Professional / Manager at the Turner Valley Golf Club from 1994 - 2007. In 2007 he moved to the Sirocco Golf Club as the Director of Golf / General Manager. He apprenticed for several years at Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club, McCall Lake, and Redwood Meadows Golf Club prior to his Turner Valley employment; all located in the Calgary area.
Volunteer efforts within the PGA of Alberta included roles as President, Chair of Long Range Planning, Tournament Chairman, Awards Committee Chairman, and Alberta Open Chairman. In addition to his board activities he was also a participant on the education, promotions, human resources, and discipline committees. Steve served on the Alberta PGA Board from 2002 until 2011. He was twice nominated for Golf Professional of the Year and was the succesful recipient in 2008. One of the highlights of his volunteer experience was during his term as Chairman of Promotions Committee and being involved with the 2006 Telus Skins Game in Banff.
Steve is currently an instructor teaching players from beginner to expert with a focus on making the game enjoyable.
