Growing up in Winnipeg Mb, I had an opportunityto play golf at The Niakwa Country Club. My cousin was a Golf Pro and everything from the outside looking in was fantastic! With the help from club pro Chick Duncan in my early junior days it opened my eyes to a career as a Golf Professional.

Begining my career at The Indian Lakes Golf Club in 1991, Sandpiper and The Ranch Golf & CC to follow,  Alberta was the starting point. Moving back to Manitoba in 1994 to work at The Niakwa Country Club  where it all started was a highlight for me. Directing the Golf Operations in a couple of rural courses over the next 15 years  taught me the creativity needed to make things work with smaller budgets.  With experience in Public,Private and Resort club settings it has allowed me to develop my skills with people. The challenges and opportunities in this business have been rewarding allowing me to raise a family in this profession for over 30 years. With the support of my wife Suzette and children, golf has been my life.

Now returning to The Ranch Golf & CC , I am still contributing in the success of this facility.
