I become a PGA of Canada Professional in 2017, starting my life long dream of becoming a golf professional. Before then, I was able to attend college/university in the United States where I obtained my Sports Management degree. While in university, I went to Fairmont Banff Springs for my internship as I gained knowledge of the golf shop and retail operations. The following summer Fairmont St Andrews presented the opportunity to go there as I was there for an entire year seeing the summer vs winter golf operations. After a year in Scotland, I applied to be the Assistant Golf Professional at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge where I gained leadership qualities and worked at one of the top courses in Canada. I treasure my time in Jasper as I learned an incredible amount while working with some great professionals well recognized in the industry.

When the lockdown started, I decided to dig deeper into something I loved and that was teaching. I got certified as part of the Leadbetter program as well as TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) certified and still continue to do more education to better understand how the body works with any physical limitation someone might have.
