I grew up on artificial greens at the Mayerthorpe Golf & Country Club. It was great to have access to a facility not requiring tee times and a dress code. I must of played a thousand rounds there! When we did get grass greens, I started work on the grounds crew there. I first attended college at Central Arizona College in Pheonix, Arizona. Then returned home to Grant MacEwan in Edmonton when I turned professional. I started at Leduc golf club, then The Glendale. At the Glendale I worked for Sandy Robertson, who I condsider the one individual to have the biggest effect on my professional career. For Five years I cleaned clubs, folded sweaters and played golf with Sandy. Then my personal life brought me to Calgary. My first season I worked at The Hamptons golf club, then returned to Edmonton the following season to work at The Royal Mayfair. After switching cities for a couple of years for my young family, I have settled in at Canyon Meadows Golf Club for the last 6 years.
