Born and raised in Vernon, British Columbia, Kendra developed a passion for golf at a young age, learning the game alongside family members and friends. Growing up in a community where golf was a staple, it wasn’t long before Kendra realized that this sport would become much more than a hobby—it would be an ongoing pursuit.
After playing competitively in junior and amateur tournaments at provincial, national, and international levels, Kendra pursued formal golf instruction to deepen her understanding of the game. While completing a degree in Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia - Okanagan, she embarked on a professional career that has led her to some amazing opportunities.
Kendra worked at Vernon Golf and Country Club in her hometown ever since she achieved professional status in 2023. She has recently been accepted onto the teaching team at Golf Fanatics in Calgary Alberta. She is known for her patient and adaptable teaching style, focusing on creating individualized lessons that cater to the unique needs of each golfer. Whether on the driving range, short game area, or course, Kendra emphasizes the importance of building a strong foundation while ensuring that players enjoy the game and feel confident in their abilities.
When she isn’t working at her golf facility, Kendra enjoys spending time with her family and friends, who share a love for golf and outdoor activities. During the quieter months of the year, Kendra works as a trainer for various hockey academies in the CSSHL, providing game-day care such as taping, equipment management, and emergency medical care to all athletes.
