Jeremy was born and raised is Edson, Alberta and spent his childhood, adolescent and early adult life working towards achieving his first dream of playing in the NHL. Jeremy played three years in the AJHL and continued on to achieved a University of Alberta degree in Kinesiology while playing university hockey. During his time in university he  met his wife, Natasha, and they have a beautiful little girl Tenley and a Boston Terrier named Murphy.

Upon completion of his degree, Jeremy continued his hockey journey playing a few years in minor pro leagues across the USA, where he created lifelong relationships and experiences. Ultimately, he fell short of accomplishing his dream of playing in the NHL and made the decision to end his career playing competitive hockey. It was in his final hockey season where he found a passion and love for golf and when his new dream and journey started in becoming a golf professional.

Jeremy started working in the golf industry in 2019 at the Leduc Gold Club. He worked in the pro shop, backstop, grounds and maintenance to help provide assistance wherever it was needed. In Leduc, Jeremy took on more responsibilities and learned a lot more about the golf industry related to managing staff, staff scheduling, event organization and set-up, merchandise ordering, demo days, and simulator league coordination. Jeremy also started to take golf more seriously and really started to work on his game in hopes of one day achieving his goal of becoming a PGA professional. He later decided to take his golf career on a different path and focus on becoming a teaching professional and personal coach. Jeremy has furthered his education with golf specific training, becoming a certified personal coach at GOLFTEC in Sherwood Park where he enjoys helping his students play better golf! He also is certified in TPI Fitness and SupersSpeed certified, as well as having lots of club fitting experience.

Jeremy is currently back at the Leduc Golf Club as a Class "A" PGA Professional happily serving the membership and public!
