The National Golf Academy is the Golf Academy for the City of Calgary Golf Course operations operating out of 3 golf courses, Shaganappi, Confederation Park and McCall lake golf courses. The NGA has 8 full Time PGA of Canada Teaching Professionals teaching over 16 hundred hours between May and August 31st.
The NGA owns and operates the newly rebuilt Golf Dome in South Calgary trhat was completed on November 2021.
The dome itself is over 50,000 square feet. It is 350 feet long, 105 feet wide and 85 feet tall, and is perfect for working on all aspects of your golf game in the off season as well to retain your game in the season. Complete with a double decker 32 stall Driving Range, all new mats Taylor Made Range Balls, Full Swing Golf Simulators, Putting Green, repair studio and more.
We pride ourselves on having the cleaniest and invicting indoor facility in the Calgary area.
The dome is open to the public for golf on a daily basis as well as available for rent for special events and other sporting activities such as Slow Pitch, Soccer, Flag football etc.
The Dome is located in Calgary just two blocks east of Macleod trail on 50th Ave SE. (50-50th Ave SE)
The Golf Dome is also fully licensed with a great selection of beers and coolers, non-alcoholic beverages and a variety of hot foods and snacks.
