The Belvedere Golf and Country Club was constructed in the early 1960’s as an architecual structure situated on a hill allowing a 360 - degree panoramic view of our wagon wheel format designed 18 hole golf course. From the outset, golf was the catalyst for camaraderie and belonging in good company drove development and growth of the Club. 1981 saw the launch of major course improvements; with storage ponds constructed to promote a continuous supply of water for the irrigation system and several holes redesigned to improve both playability and appearance.
In keeping with current golf course design trends, the Club retained the services of a course design expert in 1993. In 2001 a Long Range Planning Committee was established to ensure the ongoing improvements required to meet and manage member expectations. In 2005, the Club retained the services of Golf Course Architect Ted Locke who provided an ambitious Course Development Plan that will guide improvements in the years to come.
