 Greg was born and raised in Calgary, AB.  He is married to Dotti Andrew and they have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.  He started his golf career as an assistant golf professional at the Calgary Elks Club in 1983.  He moved, along with a team of Golf Professionals, to Priddis Greens Golf Club in 1988. In 1992, Greg and family moved to Paradise Canyon in Lethbridge, AB to open the club and work as the Head Golf Professional and General Manager.  In 1997, Greg moved to Canmore, AB as the Executive Professional/GM, to complete construction of the golf course and clubhouse and open the Silvertip Golf Resort.  Finally, in 2004, he moved to the Stewart Creek Golf & CC as Executive Professional/VP Operations where he manages operations for the golf club, and assists with planning and marketing for the Three Sisters Mountain Village development.

For both the game of golf and business, the ongoing challenges in an everchanging environment provide the most enjoyment and satisfaction.
Q. What or who influenced you in becoming a Golf Professional?
Love of the game and his brother Jason initially and then once in the business, fellow golf professional and mentor, Ron Laugher.
Q. What would you be doing if you weren’t a Golf Professional?
Owner, operator of a business in the hospitality industry.

My family, wife Dotti of 35yrs, 2 children, 2 great grandchildren, a fantastic son-in-law and my parents, brothers and sisters and their families where we all remain very close.
Q. What other interests, hobbies and passions can you share?
Outdoor pursuits including hunting, fishing, and hiking as well as travelling. Coaching future generations in both golf and other outdoor pursuits.
