I was born and raised in Rocky Mountain House. When I began looking for work I was fortunate enough to get a position in the back shop at Pine Hills Golf Club. Two seasons later I started in the pro shop. Once in the pro shop I really began to love playing and working around Golf. When I graduated highschool I decided I wanted to become a Golf Pro and continue working in the Golf industry.

Once I decided becoming a Golf Pro was what I wanted to do I focussed on practicing and getting better so I could achieve my goal. My bosses always pushed me to get better and were always great about lending a hand if I was struggling with any particular part of my game.

In the off season I spend most of my weekends at an arena in central Alberta officiating Hockey, or on a mountain Skiing.

Q. What do you enjoy most about the game and the business of golf?

I enjoy the connections with all sorts of people you get to experience and the atmosphere around a busy course/clubhouse.

Q. What would you be doing if you weren’t a Golf Professional?

I would be a Pilot whether that be helicopter or plane.

I am very passionate about officiating all levels of hockey. I also love to travel to new places where I can try different styles of golf courses.
