Dean Sklarenko

Class A member of the PGA of Canada since 2003.  I have been fortunate to have worked for some of Alberta’s most recognizable facilities and Professionals in my journey to becoming an Executive Golf Professional.  Born in Leduc, Alberta and raised in small town Millet, Alberta - I played my junior golf and learned the game at the Wetaskiwin Golf Club.  After highschool, I enrolled in the Professinal Golf Management Program in Edmonton, and began my apprenticeship towards my future as a Golf Professional.  My work past includes time at The Highlands Golf Club, working under Ray Milne & Tyler Rumple, Windermere Golf & Counrty Club, working under Michael Young, and The Derrick Golf & Winter Club, working under Trevor Goplin.  Proudly, I accepted the position of Head Professional at the Picture Butte Golf Club in 2007, and have since advance to my current role of Executive Professional/ General Manager since 2012.   Southern Alberta has become "home."  I am happily married to my wife Jeanine, and have two wonderful childern Oliver (2012) and Elsie (2015).
