Darrin Lessard

Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, I’ve always had a deep passion for sports, which led me to earn my bachelor’s in sports management. Currently working towards my Class A Professional status with the PGA of Canada, my ultimate goal is to become a golf club general manager, combining my love for the game with leadership and operations.

As a coach, my teaching philosophy is simple: I believe in working with each student’s natural abilities rather than trying to reinvent the wheel. Every golfer is unique, and my goal is to match them with techniques and strategies that bring out their best performance. Whether it’s refining a swing or improving course management, I focus on practical, effective solutions that lead to real results.

When I’m not coaching or working on my own game, you’ll find me exploring the outdoors. I enjoy playing golf and frisbee golf, skiing in the winter, and spending time with my dog, Bunker. My girlfriend, Sophie, and I love going on adventures together, hiking, travelling, or discovering new places. And when it’s time to relax, you can bet I’m firing up the BBQ and enjoying some great food with family and friends.

Golf is more than just a sport to me—it’s a lifelong pursuit of learning, improvement, and enjoyment. Whether you’re new to the game or looking to take your skills to the next level, I’d love to be part of your journey.
