My name is Aaron Buchner. I was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and have one older brother. I am currently residing in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada where I am employed as the Associate Golf Professional at the Fort McMurray Golf Club. I live in Fort McMurray with my amazing wife Shannen, our boys Bodie and Nolan, and our little fur baby Ms. Dew. We have lived in Fort McMurray since 2014 and absolutely love it. The great outdoors and the amazing people in this community, we are happy to call Fort McMurray home. I consider myself very lucky to have found a career where my passion for the game of golf and skill set can be expressed on a daily basis. Being able to turn one of my greatest passions and hobbies into a career has been wonderful. From the many people I have been fortunate to meet in my career to the many opportunities that may lay ahead, I am proud of the progress I have made thus far in my career and I am excited for the future. I am proud to be a Class A Professional of the PGA of Canada and PGA of Alberta.

Q. What do you enjoy most about the game and the business of golf?
The opportunity to meet many great people through the game
Q. What or who influenced you in becoming a Golf Professional?
I have had a passion for golf since I was young. I would say my early introduction to the game and continued passion for game is what became my influence to eventually becoming a Class A Professional
Q. What would you be doing if you weren’t a Golf Professional?
Most likely something trade related. I do enjoy working with my hands, gripping and equipment repairs seem to satisfy this
Q. What is your favourite golf course in the world?
Tough to say as I have not played that many courses around the world but there is nothing like home, Roseland Golf and Curling Club in Windsor Ontario

Tiger Woods
Q. What is the first club you take out of your bag on the driving range?
7 iron or a wedge
Q. What is the most number of holes of golf you have played in one day?
54-72
Q. What is your career low round and where did you shoot this score?
69 @ Thundering Waters in Niagara Falls Ont, First time breaking par 72 and 68 for my lowest round @ Fort McMurray Golf Club, Fort McMurray Ab.
