Since its inception in 1964, the PGA of Alberta membership has grown steadily, driven by the Association’s commitment to strengthening its presence and impact within communities across the province.

Supporting junior golf remains one of the PGA of Alberta’s core priorities. Golf professionals throughout the province dedicate their expertise to developing, organizing, and leading programs and events that inspire and engage young players. The Scholarship Program represents another important component of the Association’s commitment to junior development.

The mission of the PGA of Alberta Scholarship Program is to recognize junior golfers from around the province for their exceptional achievements while promoting and supporting their pursuit of continued education. Since 1998, the program has proudly awarded more than 70 scholarships.

The Association will award four (4) scholarships of $1,000 each in 2026.
