The draw has been posted for the Callaway Professional Series event being hosted by The Canal of Delacour on Monday, July 4th. Tee times begin at 7:30am on both holes 1 and 10.

The Stony Plain Golf Club has long been recognized for its excellent junior program. That tradition is alive and well today with the work of Head Professional Gary Christenson and Assistants Mark Hutchings, Brian Miller and Brad Simpson.
Canyon Meadows' Associate Professional Matt Freeman and partner Jeff Farris won the 2011 Riley's Best Ball title on Sunday at their home course. The team combined for a 2 & 1 win over Clayton Olson and Cam Duncan from Heritage Pointe GC. On the Senior Men's side, Priddis Greens G&CC Head Professional Ron Laugher and partner George Mader took home the title, while Willow Park Associate Professional Cathy Burton and G & G Golf Company sales rep Kim Carrington took home the Ladies' championship.
Mark Corrigan and Ryan Rody from the host Pinebrook G&CC shot a 10-under par score of 61 today at the Cleveland Golf Srixon Canada Pro-Junior to take home the Net title by two shots over their closest pursuers, Lyndon King and Carter Cissell of the Collicutt Siding GC. Dallas Lequyer and Jason Fritz of the Picture Butte GC combined for an excellent score of 7-under 64 to take home the Gross title by one over the team from The Derrick G&WC of Adam Werbicki and Cole Chelle. Darryl James of the National Golf Academy at McCall Lake shot a 3-under par 68 to take home Individual Professional honours.
Paul MacLeod from Priddis Greens G&CC shot 2 under par 69 to win the Callaway Professional Series event at Camrose.
Dallas Lequyer shot a 1-under 71 in perfect weather conditions today at his home course in Picture Butte, AB. Dan Cameron finished second with a 1-over 73. John Vautour, Redwood Meadows G&CC, and host Professional Dean Sklarenko, Picture Butte GC, tied for third place with a 2-over 74.

Shawn Croden shot a 2-over par round of 73 today at the Goose Hummock GR to claim the 4th Callaway Professional Series title of 2011. David MacComb of the Athabasca GC finished second alone after a 4-over round of 75.
Brett Burgeson and Gail Krenkel from the Country Hills GC shot a team score of 63 to win the 2011 Pro Lady South. Brian Bassen of the Strathmore GC shot 1-over 71 to be low pro. Click here for the full results.
Brett Burgeson of the Country Hills GC advanced to the third round of the PGA Championship of Canada with a 2 and 1 victory yesterday at the Cottonwood G&CC. Other Albertans advancing were Darryl James of the National Golf Academy at McCall Lake and Mark Corrigan of the Pinebrook G&CC.
The draw has been posted for Monday's Cutter & Buck Pro-Lady South, being held at the Highwood G&CC in High River. The event will be a 1:00pm shotgun with dinner following play for all participants.

Kevin Broderson of the Lacombe G&CC shot an even-par 71 today at the Coyote Creek Golf & RV Resort to win today's Callaway Professional Series stop. Three players (Roy Hide of the Red Deer G&CC, Darrell McDonald of the Mill Woods GC and Stu Williamson of the Silver Springs G&CC) finished in a tie for second place after 1-over 72's.
Rob MacGregor, Director of Golf at the Miskanaw GC in Fort McMurray has put a few events on the schedule in support of the Gilwood GC in Slave Lake. Their Men's Night ran a Slave Lake - Red Cross Fundraiser last week and raised over $3,600 through donations from 60 guys and coming up the week of July 11th they will be doing a Pink Ribbon Fundraiser (All will be wearing pink hats...photos to come)...
The Broadmoor Golf Club in Sherwood Park celebrates its 50th year by spending time with Curtis Stock of the Edmonton Journal, reminiscing about the long list of juniors who went on to become golf professionals and members of the golf industry. Past Head Professionals who helped make the junior program a huge success include Tryg Wenn, Ken Matson, Ron Belbin, Darren Ross and current Head Professional Trent Wright.
Dallas Lequyer of the Picture Butte GC shot a 1-under par 70 today at the Lacombe G&CC to take home his second straight Callaway Professional Series title. Host Professionals Kevin Broderson and Jamie Gerlitz finished one shot behind in a share of second place after even-par 71's.
Head Professional John Wilson and all of the staff at Heritage Pointe GC have been hard at work for the last two weeks trying to recover from days of rain that left Pine Creek flooded and caused severe damage to a number of bridges on 18 of their 27 holes.

Mike Belbin of the Royal Mayfair GC shot a new competitive course record of 8-under 63 today at the Leduc G&CC to capture the second event on the 2011 PGA of Alberta Players' Tour. Belbin's 6-under total for the two days was enough for a 4-shot victory over Adam Wisser of the Belvedere G&CC. Gord Courage of the CC of the Hamptons shot a 6-under 65 today to finish alone in third at 1-under for the tournament.
Adam Wisser of the Belvedere G&CC and Brett Burgeson of the Country Hills GC both shot 2-under par rounds of 69 today at the Leduc G&CC to take the lead after Day 1 of this week's PGA of Alberta Players' Tour event. Gary Hartford of the Riverside GC will join them in tomorrow's final group after a 1-under round of 70.
Professional Nick Gremm and Melissa Saken of the Edson GC shot a 6-under par 65 today at the Belvedere G&CC to win the 2011 Cutter & Buck Pro-Lady South by a single shot over Murray McCourt and Sara Jones of The Ranch GC. Kevin Broderson of the Lacombe G&CC shot a 3-under 68 to win the individual Professional event by three shots over Mike Fahey of the Goose Hummock GR.
First-day leaders Jennifer Ha of the Glencoe G&CC and Tyler Saunders of the Glendale G&CC captured the Girls and Boys titles respectively today at the Sundog Junior Masters held on the Links Course at Wolf Creek GR. Ha added a 2-over par 73 to her first round 71 today for a six-shot victory over Mieke Heyns of the Lethbridge CC, while Saunders added an even-par 71 to a round one 68 for a five-shot win over Aaron Crawford of the Springbank Links GC.
The beautiful Belvedere G&CC will host 44 Professionals along with their female amateur partner in the annual PGA of Alberta's Pro - Lady North Event on Monday June 6th.
The PGA of Alberta Players' Tour will be heading to the Leduc G&CC on Tuesday June 7th and Wednesday June 8th as 40 of the province's Club Professionals tee it up in the 2nd of 4 events.
Two-time Girls Champion Jennifer Ha of the Glencoe G&CC shot an even-par round of 71 today at Wolf Creek GR to lead Mieke Heyns of the Lethbridge CC by a single shot heading into Round 2 of the 2011 Sundog Junior Masters. On the boys side, Tyler Saunders of the Glendale G&CC shot an excellent 3-under par round of 68 to take a three-shot lead into the final round over Derek Rucki of the Calgary G&CC and Aaron Crawford of the Springbank Links GC. The team from Elbow Springs GC of Scott Allred and Senan Foley claimed their second TaylorMade adidas Tournament of Champions title today at the Innisfail GC. Allred and Foley won a 3-hole playoff over the team from Strathmore GC of Brian Bassen and Chad Bassen after both teams finished with 8-under 64's in the best ball format. Teams from Canyon Meadows G&CC (Josh Gardner and Todd Chapman) and Lacombe G&CC (Kevin Broderson and Tom McKinlay Jr.) finished in a tie for third.
