The draw has been posted for the 2011 TaylorMade Adidas Tournament of Champions. The event will be held on Wednesday, June 1st at the Innisfail GC. Lunch will begin at approximately 11:30am followed by a 1:00pm shotgun start.
The brackets have been updated and the second round of play in the 2011 PGA of Alberta Match Play Championship has begun. A reminder to all participants to have their matches completed no later than Monday, June 13th.
The draws for round one and round two of the Spring PAT at Alberta Springs GC have been posted. Tee times begin at 10:00am on Monday, May 30 and 8:00am on Tuesday, May 31.

Darryl James of the National Golf Academy at McCall Lake shot a 3-under par 69 today at Elbow Springs GC to take home a one-shot victory today in the first PGA of Alberta Players' Tour event of 2011. Brett Burgeson of the Country Hills GC had the day's best round, a 5-under 67, to finish in second place, while Host Professional Scott Allred finished alone in third after a pair of 2-under par 70's.
The PGA of Alberta Building Fundraising Initiative is off to a flying start
Darryl James of the National Golf Academy of McCall Lake shot a 4-under par 68 today at the Elbow Springs GC to take a one-shot lead over two players after the first round of this week's PGA of Alberta Players' Tour event. Trailing James by one are Mark Corrigan of the Pinebrook G&CC and Dale Miners of the Priddis Greens G&CC after three-under 69's. 19 players in the field are within 5 shots of the lead going into the final round tomorrow.
The Highwood G&CC in High River will play host to the 2011 Cutter & Buck Pro-Lady South in its new $4.5 million clubhouse.
The long, cold winter has led to some great early-season conditions at Edmonton and area courses.
Several Edmonton-and-area Professional recently participated in a National Golf in Schools program awareness day. The event was covered by Curtis Stock of the Edmonton Journal. "It's not just golf. That's the neat part," says Adam Werbicki of The Derrick Golf & Winter Club. "It brings back the rush of why we really play the game. For the fun of it."
The draw has been posted for the first Players' Tour Event of 2011. Tee Times will begin with a 11:50am crossover on the Elbow and Mountain nines.

Dallas Lequyer of the Picture Butte GC shot a 1-over par 73 today at the Connaught GC to claim the first Callaway Professional Series title of 2011. Mark Corrigan and Cory Schommer of the Pinebrook G&CC and Paul MacLeod of Priddis Greens G&CC finished one shot behind at 2-over 74.

The draw has been posted for the 2011 PGA of Alberta Match Play Championship. This year's brackets are a tribute to the Association's history, highlighting four great players and golf professionals. Round 1 must be completed no later than Monday, May 23rd.
The May 16th Callaway Professional Series event scheduled for Kananaskis Country GC has been cancelled as the golf course will not be open by the tournament date. A new venue and date will be found for this event and those currently signed up will have first right of refusal for their spot.
