The draw is up for the 2009 Cutter & Buck Pro-Lady South. The tournament will take place on Monday, June 1st at Cottonwood G&CC.
The draw has been posted for the season's first Players' Tour event at Jasper Park Lodge GC on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 2nd and 3rd.
There are currently 16 spots available for the first Players' Tour event at Jasper Park Lodge GC next week. Please contact Matt at the Office if you wish to play. Entries will be received on a first-paid, first-in basis.

The Callaway Golf Professional Series Event Scheduled for Valley Ridge on May 12 has been re-scheduled for July 6, 2009 beginning at 7:30am.

With a new golf season underway at the Canmore Golf Club, members can expect a few new changes at the golf course. The biggest project right now is the renovations being made in the kitchen and receiving area of the club house. These renovation make life easier for the kitchen staff according to the club’s director of golf Darren Cooke. “In the kitchen there is a cooler and freezer,” he said. “They will be moved so bringing in food will not intersect with the food servers and will be much more convenient.”

Being a club professional can be a demanding job, and Silvertip’s new head golf professional, Kelli Fry, feels it can detract women from getting their pro cards.
Jonny White isn’t a new face at the Canmore Golf Club, but he will be taking on a new role this golf season. White received his CPGA card at the end of last season and he will now be taking a more active role at the golf course. “It was something I have always wanted to do,” said White. “When I was younger I always said I wanted to become a golf professional. And it wasn’t to play on Tour, it was a teaching professional.”
